Oh, wirklich interessant. Würde mich jetzt interessieren, ob diese offenen Akkus mit Kabelage nicht doch für Probleme beim Siherheits-Check sorgen:
"Split battery pack for Brompton folding bikes. Includes charger and wiring harness.
Airline regulations prohibit travel with batteries greater than 160 watt hour capacity and so we designed the smaller of these custom split battery packs to give our electric Brompton customers an option for traveling with their bike. With the combined 4.4AH batteries you get a total of 8.8AH capacity for use as an electric bike and when you're flying you can disconnect the two packs so that each of the 2 batteries is below the limit. Watt hours is caculated by Volts X Amps = Watt hours. Note, only the smaller of these two packs is airline friendly. The larger pack is not airline friendly.
Note: Any option larger than 160 Watt hours is not compatible with airline travel.
