Nachdem Reelight seit einigen Jahren am Start ist und seit Ende letzten Jahres MagnicLight eine ähnliche Lösung präsentierte, nun noch eine weitere Lösung der Licht/Stromprobleme. Vorteil man könnte sich daraus vielleicht eine USB Charge Version bauen. Vorteil wenn man am Brompton vielleicht eine Pantour Federung einsetzt kann man leider keinen Nabendynamo nutzen oder bei besonders leichten Felgen mit wenig Speichen wie bei den Kinetix Pro ist Nabendynamo auch nicht unbedingt möglich. Daher ist diese Version schon passend. Die Frage ist nach der elektischen Ausbeute ob die ausreicht für moderne Smartphones ?

Basically the MLS-150 is a magnet-to-magnet system.

The generator of MLS-150 has 1.1 Watt of power when the bike reach 15km/hour , There is no physical contact friction, almost all the magnetic drag (1.1 Watt) becomes electricity.

The Magtenlight is totally new and different .The Magtenlight uses 28 magnets on the wheel, and uses 2 magnets on top of a highly efficient generator (the air gap between rotor and stator is only 0.2 mm), these magnets forms a
system of magnetic gears, gearing-up the generator speed by 14 times, and because it is a magnet to magnet force transmission, the magnetic force interacts with each other for transfer of 2 times the power to the generator because both side of the magnets exerting a force to each other.

The Magtenlight has a CREE Q4 steady white LED on the front , 1W of light power ( 3.3V x 0.3A) plus two steady/flashing red 5mm LEDs on the rear (2.4V x 20mA x 2 = 0.096 W),

Man benutzt ja immer zwei Leuchteinheiten vorn und hinten, also 1,1Watt x2, es wird auch eine große Version geben, oder man benutzt zwei dieser Lampen vorne.
